  • At Vici Beauty Co., we operate as a booth rental salon. When you arrive, please take a moment to make yourself comfortable in our inviting waiting area. I will be with you shortly to begin your treatment. If you visit me during the week, Monday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm, you'll have the pleasure of being greeted by our friendly receptionist. They will extend a warm welcome and offer you a refreshing beverage while you relax in anticipation of your appointment.

  • Due to limited space and commitment to maintaining a serene spa environment, we recommend limiting additional guests. An extra chair is available in my treatment room if needed, and I appreciate your understanding in not having small children wait in our spa area to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for all. Thank you for your cooperation.

  • I am happy to provide selected services to minors 10 years old and up. A parent or legal guardian is required to be present for the duration of the appointment; this chaperone will also need to present their own ID and sign a Parental/Legal Guardian Consent form at the beginning of the appointment.

  • I kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No-calls/no-shows will result in a 100% cancellation fee. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation with my policy, which helps me maintain efficient scheduling and continue providing excellent service.

General

Brows, Lashes + Facial Waxing

  • Let your eyebrow hair grow to at least 1/4 inch (6-8 mm).

    Avoid excessive sun exposure.

Discuss your preferences and allergies with me at your appointment.

Plan for makeup touch-up if needed.

Avoid Certain Skincare Products: Refrain from using any products containing retinol, tretinoids, retin-A, AHAs, or BHAs for at least 5 days leading up to your appointment. This precaution helps prevent any unwanted lifting of the skin during the waxing process.

If you are currently on Accutane, it is essential to wait a minimum of 6 months before scheduling any waxing services for any part of your body.

  • To achieve the best results, I recommend that hair should measure between 8-15mm. For those with coarser hair, aiming for a length closer to 15mm is advisable, particularly during the initial waxing sessions. As the hair gradually becomes finer with each waxing session, it can be effectively treated at shorter lengths.

  • Pre-Lash Lift Care:

    Cleanse lashes and remove makeup.

    Avoid wearing contact lenses.

    Post-Lash Lift Care:

Keep lashes dry for 24-48 hours.

Avoid eye makeup and mascara initially.

Handle lashes gently; no rubbing or pulling.

Consider using a recommended lash serum.

    Skip waterproof mascara.

    No eyelash curlers needed.

    Brush lashes daily for neatness.

Microblading + Microshading

  • Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo procedure that involves using a specialized hand tool to create small, fine strokes that resemble natural eyebrow hairs. It's a popular technique for enhancing and reshaping eyebrows, particularly for individuals with sparse or thin brows.

  • Microshading is a semi-permanent tattoo procedure similar to microblading but with some differences in the application method and final result. While microblading creates fine, hair-like strokes to mimic natural eyebrow hairs, microshading involves the use of tiny dots or shading techniques to create a soft, powdered effect that resembles the look of filled-in eyebrows with makeup.

    1. Consultation: During an initial consultation, you and I will discuss your desired eyebrow shape, color, if Microblading, shading, or Combo brows will be best and just overall brow goals. I will assess your skin type and determine if you are a suitable candidate for the procedure.

    2. Numbing: Before the procedure begins, a topical numbing cream is applied to minimize any potential discomfort.

    3. Mapping and Design: I will carefully measure and map out the desired eyebrow shape, taking into consideration your facial features and bone structure. This step ensures that the final result looks natural and complements your face.

    4. Microblading: Using a handheld microblading tool with a cluster of fine needles, I will create small incisions or strokes on the skin's surface and deposit pigment into these strokes. These strokes mimic the appearance of individual eyebrow hairs, resulting in a fuller and more defined brow.

    5. Microshading: Instead of using fine incisions or strokes as in microblading, microshading involves a specialized machine with tiny needles that deposit pigment in a series of dots or short lines. I meticulously apply the pigment to the brows, gradually building up the desired density and shape.

    6. Pigment Selection: I select the appropriate pigment color to match your natural eyebrow shade or the color you desire.

    7. Healing: After the procedure, it's common to experience some initial redness and mild swelling. Over the next few weeks, the pigment will gradually darken, and the brows may appear bolder than the final result.

    8. Touch-Up: A follow-up appointment is usually scheduled after a few weeks to assess the healed results and make any necessary adjustments. This ensures that the color and shape of the eyebrows are perfect.

Microblading can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years, depending on factors such as your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. To maintain the results, touch-up sessions are recommended 12-15 months.

  • Combo brows, short for "combination brows," are a semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo technique that combines both microblading and microshading to create a fuller and more defined eyebrow appearance. This technique is often chosen by individuals who want the natural hair-like strokes of microblading combined with the soft, powdered effect of microshading for a well-defined and bold brow look.

I offer the versatility of Combo Brows. Depending on your desired shape, I employ a blend of microblading and shading techniques to craft brows that suit you beautifully:

    • The Ombre Effect: For a soft and defined look, I create an "Ombre Effect." Here, I delicately apply microblading strokes to the front of your brow, seamlessly transitioning into shading from the middle to the ends. This technique results in a gracefully defined appearance.

    • Fuller, Natural Brows: To achieve naturally fuller brows, I incorporate microblading strokes throughout, focusing on precision, and then introduce shading towards the center. This technique imparts fullness while maintaining a natural look.

    • Sharp Brow Lines: If you desire sharp, defined brow lines, I begin with strokes throughout your brow and then gracefully introduce the Ombre Effect, starting from the base of your brow. The result is a crisp, well-defined brow line.

No matter your preference, Combo Brows offer the perfect blend of microblading and shading techniques to create brows that enhance your unique beauty.

  • Preparing for your microblading and shading appointment is essential to ensure the best possible results and a smooth experience. Here's a guide on how to prepare for your microblading and shading session:

    • Consultation: I require a consultation prior to all microblading/shading services. Even if you’ve seen a different artist in the past. I'd like to discuss your desired eyebrow shape, color, and overall look. This is also an opportunity to ask any questions and clarify any concerns you may have.

    • Avoid Blood Thinners: In the days leading up to your appointment, avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, and any blood-thinning medications or supplements, as they can increase the risk of bleeding and affect pigment retention.

    • Avoid Sun Exposure: Limit sun exposure and avoid tanning beds for at least a week before your appointment. Sunburned or tanned skin can be more sensitive during the procedure.

    • Discontinue Skincare Products: Avoid using retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), or any exfoliating products on your eyebrows for at least a week prior to your appointment. These products can thin the skin and affect the procedure.

    • No Waxing or Tweezing: Refrain from waxing or tweezing your eyebrows for at least two weeks before your appointment. I will need to see your natural brow shape and growth pattern for reference. Unless you get your waxing with me. We can wax your brows 3 days prior to your tattoo.

    • Stay Hydrated: Keep your skin well-hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment. Hydrated skin tends to heal and retain pigment better.

    • Avoid Caffeine: If you're sensitive to pain or nervous about discomfort, consider limiting your caffeine intake on the day of the procedure.

    • Bring Reference Images: If you have specific eyebrow shapes or styles in mind, bring reference images to your appointment. This can help me understand your preferences.

    • Plan for Healing Time: Microblading and shading may result in some redness and swelling immediately after the procedure. Plan for a few days of healing time, during which you may want to avoid social or work-related events.

    • Schedule Wisely: Schedule your microblading and shading appointment at a time when you can rest afterward. Avoid strenuous activities, sweating, and water contact (including swimming) for at least a week post-procedure.

    • Arrive Makeup-Free: On the day of your appointment, arrive with clean, makeup-free skin in the brow area. I will need to cleanse the area thoroughly before starting the procedure and I will most likely mess up your makeup anyways.

    • Discuss Allergies: If you have any known allergies or sensitivities, please let me know beforehand during your consultation I will give you pre and post care to know what to look for.

It's essential to follow these instructions closely to ensure the best possible outcome for your microblading and shading session.

  • Taking time off work is not mandatory after your microblading appointment. However, it's essential to be aware that your freshly microbladed eyebrows will undergo some changes in the first few days.

Following your appointment, your eyebrows may appear darker than the final result. This is entirely normal and is part of the initial healing process. You can embrace this by slightly enhancing your makeup around your brows to create a deliberate and polished look. While it's not a necessity, you have the option to take some time off work if you prefer. This choice depends on your comfort level and your workplace's policies.

Ultimately, the decision to take time off work or not is a personal one. Many of my guests resume their daily activities immediately after microblading, confidently showcasing their beautifully enhanced brows.

  • I will provide your aftercare gel from Tina Davis and clean tissues

The day of the treatment: Absorb
Gently blot the area with a clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this every 5 minutes for the full day until oozing has stopped. Removing this fluid prevents hardening of the lymph.

    Days 1-7: Wash
Wash daily to remove bacteria and dead skin. (Don't worry...THIS DOES NOT REMOVE THE PIGMENT!) Gently wash your procedure area each morning and night with water and an antibacterial soap like Dial Soap, Cetaphil or Neutrogena. With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the affected area. Rub the area in a smooth motion for 10 seconds and rinse with water ensuring that all soap is rinsed away. To dry, gently pat with a clean tissue. DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or any exfoliants.

    Days 1-7: Prevent
Apply a rice grain amount of TINA DAVIS AFTERCARE ointment with a cotton swab and spread it across the treated area. Be sure not to over-apply as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The ointment should be barely noticeable on the skin. Never put the ointment on a wet or damp tattoo. AWP (Absorb, Wash, Prevent) should have you covered, but here are some extra tips to help with a smooth and easy recovery:

    Important Reminders

    • Use a fresh pillowcase

    • Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. Picking can cause scarring or loss of Colour

    • No facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks

    • No retnoils, tretnoids, AHAS, BHAS for 4 weeks

    • Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for one week

    • Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure. Wear hat when Outdoors.

    • Avoid heavy sweating and long hot showers for the first 10 days.

    • Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days

    • Avoid swimming, lakes, hot tubs for the first 10 days

    • Avoid topical makeup including sunscreen on the area

    • DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area.

Remember, with the proper prep and aftercare routine you will have much better results with your microblading procedure. Don’t forget your new favorite acronym: AWP- Absorb, Wash, Prevent.

Important note about showering: Limit your showers to 5 minutes so you do not create too much steam. Keep your face/procedure area out of the water while you wash your body, then, at the end of your shower, wash your hair. Your face, or procedure area, should only be getting wet at the very last end of the shower. Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.

Chemical Peel

  • If you will receive a peel treatment on the day of your appointment. Please follow the outline below to prepare. Use of PCA SKIN® daily care products prior to your peel will prepare the skin, allow for better treatment results, and reduce the risk of complications. This is recommended but not mandatory. Please consult your physician or skincare clinician for appropriate recommendations for your skin type and condition.

It is recommended that you take the following into consideration:

For best results and to reduce the risk of complications, it is recommended that you use PCA SKIN® daily care products 10 to 14 days prior to treatment.

If you are lactating, pregnant, or may be pregnant, consult your OB/GYN before receiving any treatment.

Do not go to a tanning bed two weeks prior to treatment. This practice should be discontinued due to the increased risk of skin cancer and signs of aging.

It is recommended that extended sun exposure be avoided, especially in the 10 days prior to treatment.

It is recommended to delay use of tretinoin, Retin-A®, Renova®, Differin®, Tazorac®, Avage®, EpiDuo®, Ziana®, and high-percentage AHA and BHA products for approximately five days. Consult your physician before temporarily discontinuing use of any prescription medications.

PCA SKIN® superficial peels result in little-to-no downtime but create dramatic and visible results. Treatments may cause slight redness, tightness, peeling, flaking, or temporary dryness. Most patients find it unnecessary to apply makeup, as the skin will be smooth, dewy, and radiant following your treatment.

  • For two days post-procedure:

Stay as cool as possible. Overheating internally can cause hyperpigmentation.

Do not put the treated area directly into a hot shower spray.

Do not use hot tubs, steam rooms, or saunas.

    Do not go swimming.

Do not participate in activities that would cause excessive perspiration.

Do not use loofahs or other means of mechanical exfoliation.

Do not direct a hair dryer onto the treated area.

Do not apply ice or ice water to the treated area.

General guidelines after receiving a PCA SKIN® treatment:

After receiving a PCA SKIN® professional treatment, you should not necessarily expect to “peel.” However, light flaking in a few localized areas for several days is typical. Most patients who undergo these treatments have residual redness for approximately one to 12 hours post-procedure.

As with all peels and treatments, it is recommended that makeup not be applied the day of treatment, as it is ideal to allow the skin to stabilize and rest overnight; however, makeup may be applied 15 minutes after the treatment, if desired.

To minimize side effects and maximize results, use the Post-Procedure Solution for three to five days or until flaking has resolved.

If the skin feels tight, apply ReBalance for normal to oily skin types or Silkcoat® Balm for drier skin types to moisturize as needed. For maximum hydration, you can apply Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum under ReBalance or Silkcoat® Balm.

Moisturizer should be applied at least twice a day, but can be applied more frequently for hydration and to decrease the appearance of flaking.

It is recommended that other topical, over-the-counter medications, or alpha hydroxy acid products not be applied to the skin seven days post-procedure, as they may cause irritation.

It is recommended to delay use of tretinoin, Retin-A®, Differin®, Renova®, Tazorac®, Avage®, EpiDuo®, or Ziana® five days prior post-procedure or seven days when receiving MD Peel (CCl3). Consult your physician before temporarily discontinuing use of any prescription medications.

Avoid direct sun exposure and excessive heat. Use Active Protection Body Broad Spectrum SPF 30, Weightless protection broad spectrum SPF 45, daily defense broad spectrum SPF 50, Hydrator Plus Broad Spectrum SPF 30, Active Broad Spectrum SPF 45, or Sheer Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 45 for broad spectrum UV protection.

Do not go to a tanning bed for at least two weeks post-procedure. This practice should be discontinued due to the increased risk of skin cancer and signs of aging.

Do not pick or pull on any loosening or peeling skin. This could potentially cause hyperpigmentation. Do not have another treatment until your clinician advises you to do so.

Expertise, customization, and care go into every booking.
